Hatha Yoga
Yoga promotes health and happiness by working on bringing the mind, body and spirit
into balance. Anyone can practice yoga, whatever your age, level of fitness, health,
or religion. It helps to condition the body through movement and promotes the body's
own natural healing abilities. When physical and mental tensions are released, built
up stores of energy can be released. Yoga promotes vitality, calmness of mind, restores
mental and physical balance, health and well being, bringing us back to ourselves,
offering the opportunity for growth.
Yoga is a philosophy and a way of life that includes diet, massage, relaxation and
meditation. We can apply what we learn from Yoga according to our own lives, culture
and religion. Hatha is the union of opposites to achieve balance, integrating the
polar opposite energies of the universe to create physical, mental, emotional and
spiritual unity within.
We currently offer classes across Edinburgh for general yoga, prenatal and postnatal,
